Things to see

Puglia is a land full of places to discover. Here are some locations you shouldn’t miss.

Martina Franca

Martina Franca

Martina Franca is the baroque heart of the Itria Valley: a compact historic center with noble palaces, decorated churches and charming courtyards. Walking through its streets you’ll notice richly carved facades, open squares and baroque architecture, along with a strong local food tradition, including cured meats such as the famous capocollo
Polignano a Mare

Polignano a Mare

Polignano a Mare is a village overlooking the sea. From the entrance arch to the main square, daily life unfolds between historic churches and small shops. The narrow streets open onto terraces with views over the cliffs and the sea below. A place to explore slowly, between history and local food stops.
Ostuni

Ostuni

Ostuni, known as the “white city” for its lime-washed buildings, develops through a network of narrow streets leading up to the cathedral. Walking around, you can see traces of different historical periods reflected in architecture and artisan workshops. From the top, views stretch across olive groves and the sea.
Monopoli

Monopoli

A seaside town made of small squares, churches and a working harbor. Life here follows the rhythm of fishing and daily gatherings. In the evening, the port lights up and creates a lively atmosphere.
Alberobello

Alberobello

Alberobello is known for its trulli: dry-stone white buildings that define a unique landscape. Walking through its districts means discovering still-inhabited houses, small courtyards and a strong connection between architecture and rural life.
Locorotondo

Locorotondo

Locorotondo is known for its circular historic center, with white streets, tidy alleys and views over the valley. It is appreciated for its flowered balconies and local white wines. What to see: the panoramic viewpoint, the old town and local wine bars.

Itineraries

Beaches and Beach Clubs

Beaches and Beach Clubs

The beaches we recommend are in Torre Canne, within the Coastal Dunes Regional Park, where equipped beach clubs alternate with free coastline. Along the Adriatic coast, between Savelletri and Pilone, you’ll find sandy beaches and rocky coves. For snorkeling, we suggest Capitolo (Monopoli), Costa Merlata and Torre Guaceto. If the Adriatic sea is rough, the Ionian coast (Pulsano, Campomarino, Porto Cesareo) offers calmer alternatives.
Matera Tour

Matera Tour

Matera offers a unique spectacle: cave houses carved into the rock, rock churches with ancient frescoes and the upper town that dominates the whole area. A striking testimony to everyday life carved into stone, from traditional dwellings to film locations that have inspired directors and visitors. Guided visits to cave houses and rock churches are an opportunity to understand how people adapted their lives to the rocky setting.
Boat excursions

Boat excursions

Discover the most fascinating Puglian coast through a boat excursion from Torre Canne to Savelletri. Sailing along the cliffs, you can admire the spectacular rock formations rising from the sea, in an enchanting and unique landscape. The experience ends as the sun sinks below the horizon, painting the sky in striking colours. A perfect itinerary for couples looking for a special experience, but also for groups of friends or families who want to share a magical moment.
Carpari – Mangiato – Galeone itinerary

Carpari – Mangiato – Galeone itinerary

An itinerary that follows the Martina Franca – Noci axis, with connections to Alberobello: a route designed for those who want to explore landscape, agriculture and villages in a single day. Along the way you will find historic farmhouses, large wooded areas and active agricultural businesses: a mosaic of productive and cultural elements that tell the story of the Murgia. The route also highlights the Murgese horse, a local symbol linked to rural traditions and equestrian routes widespread in the area. The itinerary offers ideal stops for very short visits or longer explorations. The landscape alternates agricultural stretches, sinkholes and old paths alongside dry-stone walls and rural settlements (farmhouses, trulli, lamie). For photographers and nature lovers, the route offers perspective views and agricultural scenery that is still little urbanised.

The route can be walked in stages: you can choose a short section for a half-day or combine several parts for a full day. Suitable for families used to walking and for cyclists with e-bikes.
